Russians are used to discounts. Retailers encourage frequent price promotions to sell products quickly. Coca-Cola together with X5 Retail Group are launching the “Discount-Free Store”, a unique platform for testing promotion technologies in customer marketing and collecting evidence that price promotions are not the only promotion tool. Using the state-of-the-art shopper-marketing solutions, we have created unique interactive installations and non-standard mechanics for customer interaction. We managed to boost sales and encourage consumers used to discounts to buy things at full price. The most effective solutions in this field have been scaled in Pyaterochka and Magnit supermarkets all over Russia.
